A commitment to care for the most vulnerable.

Armenia Relief Mission is committed to the physical and spiritual care of the most vulnerable in Armenia. These groups include but are not limited to the hungry, poor, widowed, orphaned, elderly, disabled and the sick.

Our programs have been developed and tailored throughout the years to meet these needs.

Medical Clinic

Armenian Relief Mission provides free medical care and free prescription drugs to hundreds of sick people who live in the Lori region; population of 75,000 people. ARM clinic is staffed by 10 Armenia native employees, which includes a physician, lab technician, x-ray technician, and a pharmacist. Surgeons from the US provide free surgeries when they travel to Armenia on medical mission trips.

Winter Relief

Armenian Relief Mission is committed to helping many poor families who live in the city of Vanadzor and its surrounding villages during the winter months. We supply food and provide heat during the frigid months. Every year our goal is to help at least 300 families.

Orphanages

For the last 20 plus years ARM has kept its mission to help the orphanages in Armenia with their medical and physical needs. We’ve been able to provide free medical care, clothing, warm blankets, toys, diapers, school supplies, playgrounds and more.

Children’s Camp

Every summer Armenian Relief Mission organizes and runs one or two weeks of camps for children who come from the poorest families and nearby orphanages. Our volunteer run camps are full day, providing the children with 3 meals and lots of fun.

Playgrounds

Armenia Relief Mission recycles playgrounds that park districts in the states want to depose of. We ship them to Armenia where they are reconstructed by volunteers in the most in need parts of the country, including schools and orphanages.

Orchard

ARM's fruit orchard contains 1500 apricot and peach trees. The fruit that the orchard produces each year is distributed to local orphanages, our children's camps as well as poor families in the area. The orchard also provides jobs for the villagers, who tend to the trees and harvest the fruit.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

— Mathew 25:35-36
