Orphanages
Every time an ARM team from the United States travels to Armenia, the trip always includes time spent at one of three state-run orphanages with whom ARM has developed a relationship through consistent visits and assistance. Volunteer teams invariably receive more than they give from the children – who generously respond to attention with love and excitement. Over the years, ARM has presented children with everything from school supplies to stuffed animals, soccer jerseys to fleece sweatshirts. Teams have entertained children with skits and songs, and messages of hope. Teams have built playgrounds at two separate orphanages, leaving a permanent testament to the love and care that comes to them from friends in the United States.
